Jack Curtis

"I am a retired electrical engineer, spending some 47 years with NEEB, finishing my career as a Senior Project Engineer and specialising in industrial contracting.  I carried out many varied contracts, from shipyards, glass furnaces, paint manufacturing and printing works etc.  I was also consultant to SAFC at Roker Park football ground for 19 years".

.  I have been a published freelance writer with my work being published by International Magazines.  I was a bass singer in a local male voice choir winning competitions at national level and one international competition.  I have had a full and varied life with many great experiences and have been a lifelong pigeon fancier.  I am the grandson of the old Sunderland Port diver and spent many of my formative years living with them on Sunderland Docks and am therefore a keen supporter of Sunderland Maritime Heritage".
